Liquid Detergent Plant

LABSA (96%) received in 200 kg drums is weighed on platform scale as per suitable formulation and taken into open buckets/containers suitable to pour into the neutraliser. Similarly caustic soda liquid/potash liquid/TEA (neutralising agents) are weighed into open container as per stoichiometric requirement of the formulation.

Demineralised soft water as per batch formula is taken into the neutraliser. Agitator is started to stir the content of neutraliser. LABSA and neutralising agent are slowly added through the neutraliser manhole or through connected piping into the stirred water inside the neutraliser. The fast neutralisation takes place. Cooling water is circulated through the jacket of the neutraliser to control the  temperatures of  the neutraliser (if required).

After the neutralisation is complete, all other batch ingradients, like colour, perfume, stabilising chemicals, preservatives, etc are added as per the product variety, and formulation requirement.

The pH of the liquid in the neutraliser is tested by titration or ph strips and minor adjustments are done either by adding neutralising agent or labsa to maintain the ph.

The Liquid detergent so prepared is pumped through polishing filter to add the sparkle to the finished product.

The product is stored into ageing vessel for 6-8 hours to gain the consistency and viscosity desired.

The product is then filled into bottles, pouches, or containers by means of a liquid filling machine.
